Emergency Home Repair Program
1. The applicant must be the owner occupant of the residence within the city limits which is and has been the customary and usual place of residence for the applicant for at least 6 months.
2. The applicant's annual income must not exceed 50% of the median income for the City of Houston as published by HUD
3. The applicant must be at least 62 years of age or long-term disabled
4. The applicant must not have recieved prior assistance from the City of Houston under any housing program for at least 5 years prior to applying for the Emergency Home Repair Program.
